Design concept
The high-pressure boundary is supported by a dense forged steel valve body, and precise opening control and remote intelligent diagnosis are achieved through an electric actuator. The valve body is forged to obtain continuous grain flow lines, eliminating the risk of shrinkage porosity and gas holes in castings. The sphere is adapted to the floating ball or fixed ball structure according to the pressure rating of the diameter. Core design logic: Ensure high-pressure integrity through forging compactness, achieve precise regulation and predictive maintenance through electric drive digitalization, and provide standardized intelligent control solutions for high-pressure pipelines without gas sources, requiring precise control, and being remote and unattended.
Performance advantage
High-precision regulation: When combined with variable frequency or stepper motors, it can achieve extremely fine opening control, with a repeatability accuracy within ±0.5% of the stroke. It is the preferred drive for PID closed-loop regulation in process industries.
Digital communication and intelligent diagnosis: Supports bus protocols such as Profibus, FF, HART, and Modbus, and can upload torque curves, action counts, and fault alarms to achieve predictive maintenance.
Powerful thrust and self-locking position retention: The precise deceleration mechanism can output tens of thousands of Newton-meters of torque. The worm gear or brake motor has mechanical self-locking capability,and the valve can reliably maintain its position after power failure.
High-pressure densification of forged steel: The grain flow lines of forgings are continuous, the wall thickness is uniform, and the specific strength is high. The integrity of the pressure boundary under high-pressure conditions of Class 600 and above is better than that of cast steel.
Low-torque fit: The torque of the fixed ball ear shaft support structure is 1/3 to 1/5 of that of the floating ball, matching a smaller-sized electric head to reduce procurement costs.
Bidirectional airtight seal: Meets API 598 zero-bubble acceptance, with floating ball pressure self-tightening or fixed ball spring pre-tightening, and reliable bidirectional disconnection from low pressure to full pressure.
The system is simple and independent: It only requires power supply and does not need auxiliary facilities such as air sources or hydraulic stations, making it suitable for remote unmanned sites.
Safety performance
Fireproof structure: Standard equipped with primary non-metallic seal + secondary metallic seal, certified by API 607/6FA fire test.
Anti-blowout valve stem: The reverse sealing step design complies with API 608, ensuring that the valve stem is not blown out when the cover loosens.
Anti-static conduction: The resistance of the ball - valve stem - valve body is ≤10Ω.
Overload protection: Torque switch or electronic torque limit to prevent overload damage to valves and actuators.
Power-off position retention/reset: Standard type power-off position retention; An optional spring return module is available for emergency shut-off in case of power failure (only for medium and small diameters).
Heating and dehumidification: The actuator is equipped with an internal heater to prevent condensation water from causing electrical faults.
